If you are buying an IDTV to receive the Freeview or Top Up TV services, you should do a postcode search (either use the DTG facility yourself or ask the retailer to do it at the shop) to ensure that you can get the service in your area. For Freeview, it is also advisable to get an aerial survey performed, particularly if your rooftop aerial is an old one.
