| There are three ways to receive digital TV: through your rooftop aerial in the form of over-the-air or terrestrial transmissions (the system that Freeview and Top Up TV use); through a satellite dish on the roof (the system that Sky Digital uses); or through a cable in the ground (the system that NTL and Telewest use). In each case, a cost is incurred. Note that with Top Up TV, it is only possible to receive the signals with an old ITV Digital box. |
